1. 85 locations acquired across Hamilton City with a week of completing his training.
Mark Cate began his Giggle journey as a 37 year-old truck driver from Tauranga NZ.
He had finished up his trucking career and was looking for something a little less “hands on” that would give him the freedom to build a business that would not only support his lifestyle but work around it.
As a sailing enthusiast, he wanted to be able to build a business that would fuel his dream to sail all over the world.
Mark had searched all over for many different business types and had not found anything that had taken his eye.
He had no experience in marketing.
He also had no experience in a customer-facing sales role which all the franchise options he could find would require him to have.
What Mark did have however was a very strong drive to learn what was required of him and a determination to succeed.
One day whilst training at the gym, Mark was watching the Giggle screen and he saw that there were other franchise areas available for sale.
He reached out and enquired about buying a Giggle business in a nearby city.
By August 2019, Mark owned his very own Giggle business.
As per the Giggle program he spent the next six weeks training. Then he set off to procure screen locations in his territory.

Within four weeks, Mark had secured over 85 locations across Hamilton city.
He then went on to start securing advertisers to promote their services on his screens. Within three weeks he had secured his target number of advertisers and overseen the installation of his screens all across Hamilton.
Mark obtained a turnover of over £17,400 pounds per month within a period of three months of starting his first sales meeting.
Mark operated his business for another two years before selling it on and sailing the world.
Mark attributed his success to one thing:
What Mark understood was that it was essential to follow the Giggle systems since he had no experience in this industry. He recorded his sales sessions and listened to them afterwards. He took on feedback and followed the process until it stuck.
